Laser Etching

Here is an experiment I did with laser etching.  The first is the original image, the second a simple colour inversion.  There was a large area of black in the background of the iconic Tintin image, I thought that reversing the colours would give an interesting effect.  This really just showed that you really need to manage the image that you are printing, generally clean lines on a white background work best.  There was also quite a lot of smoke trails on these, my next tests will either be at a slower print speed or with masking tape over the top.
