Sometimes things just don't work.
After printing an acceptable raft the extruder started putting out wispy nothingness a little bit into the print. Sometimes this is an issue with the plastic feeding into the nozzle, but not this time. This one had to be scrapped and started again, the next version printed fine with no changes to the settings.
